The Little Bookbindery: Curator's Folios

A tiny collection, waiting to be discovered.

At about the size of a penny, each Curator’s Folio from The Little Bookbindery is a handcrafted 1:12 scale collection of materials, images and memories gathered from places near and far.

Each folio begins with a scrap of vintage leather, repurposed from a forgotten book and given a new story in miniature. The interior is individually lined with handcrafted artisan paper personally selected during my travels, including papers sourced from Peru, California and Italy.

Inside are four tiny pieces of ephemera, individually selected from my personal collection and curated around themes that most often include florals, nature and fine art. Once assembled, each folio is closed with a wax seal bearing a Little Bookbindery insignia.

But the seal does not have to remain a secret forever. Our 1:1 scale collectors may carefully open their folio to discover the tiny collection waiting inside.
